Sarah Warren Prince Osborne (1643?-1692) - One of the first three women to be accused of witchcraft in the Salem witch trials of 1692, Sarah is sometimes referred to as \"Goody Osborne,\" Goody being short for \"Goodwife\" and at the time a form of address for old women of lowly social status. Born Sarah Warren in Watertown, Massachusetts.Tonight I bring to you my rendition of Goody Osborne. Goody is 35 inches in height and that does include her tall witch hat that is made out of black wool felt.The witch is made out of hand dyed woven cotton, the face is needle felted, hand painted and stained, as is her long fingered hands. Goody has brown hand painted boots, black and tan check stockings and muslin pantaloons.The outfit Goody is wearing is made from quality quilters? cotton and homespun. The collar and delicate handmade lace around the cuffs are vintage finds.
