Original old primitive grain cutting cradle/scythe farm implement field tool. The metal blade seems sharp and appears that it would cut grain if desired.The wood is in good condition for being well over 100 years old.The fingers and blade are about 45\" long overall. The Handle is 54\" long.These antique farm cradles were once used to cut and harvest grain by hand long before there was today\'s mechanical methods of doing this task.Most of the cradles even found today are worn out and broken up... this is a true survivor!Would look fantastic displayed in your a rustic country garden setting within your Rustic farmhouse homestead.
