These dolls are stitched with the same loving care that thewomen of \"Days Gone By\" stitched for their children and grandchildren. Each of these are stitched with my seven soon to be eight beautiful granddaughters in mind.

Up for sale is a Primitive Handmade Grungy Black Folk ArtMarthie and Her Bee Hive Doll. She is 18\" tall and will either hang or set. She has a jute rope on the back for hanging. This doll has been firmly stuffed and is completely handmade out of muslin. She is all hand painted and sculpted and stitched. Her eyes are tiny little bead eyes. Her dress is out of a tiny homespun checked blue/mauve print and she has muslin bloomers, an apron that is hand stitched and a bonnet. The doll has been put through a prim process to give her that time worn look...Marthie is out checking her Bee Hive which she is proud to carry. Her hang tag says \"Marthie and Her Bee Hive\". She is signed and dated on her bottom.
