This Buy It Now sale is for this Grubby grungy Make Do Lantern with one of my grubby battery votive candles sitting on prim moss inside. I remember as a child my grandfather had made a lantern from and old can and I wanted to try to make something to resemble it. I used my rusty prim finish on this container. I added some material I made look like old rusty screen. I covered the top in my grubby burlap with jute string and rusty wire twisted around it. I added a rusty star to the wire. This also has a rusty wire handle. The rusty mesh material is not fastened at the bottom so you can just reach in and turn your candle on and off.

It measures almost 10 inches tall

This will look great tucked in an old cupboard, pie safe,on a dough boardor bread board.

Great addition to your farmhouse primitive early style decor.
