This Santa was inspired by an old German Santa.

His coat is made from a piece of oldcream color wool blanketwith a red stripe in it. It has the original redbinding that is on his hood and hem of hiscoat. He has a piece of jute for his belt.

His pants are tucked into his boots and are made from a piece of old brown fabric.

He hasgray paper mache boots and is mounted on an old board.

He has a face molded from an old German candy mold, that is painted and sealed.

I have used old cotton batting for his beard.

He has a smallbasket with preserved greenery and red berries. He is holding a little sheep with a brass bell around its neck. In his hand is a leather strip of bells.

Santa is about 19\" tall.
