Mounded on Handmade Hornbook
< This wonderful punch design is over dyed using Walnut Crystals and Vanilla to give an aged primitive look. The pattern is by Brenda Gervais and mounted on a handmade and hand painted hornbook. The hornbook has been painted with black chalk paint and then glazed with wax to give a primitive sheen for a rustic patina. This wonderful design is on weaver’s cloth with over dyed Valdani embroidery floss of primitive colors. The design stands overall 9” tall and 7.5”width and depth of hornbook is ¾”of very nice wood ~ Punch needle measures 8” high by 5” wide. . This custom piece is signed and dated by me from a smoke and pet free home. Please keep in mind this one of a kind handcrafted design and may have some variation and natural imperfections.
