Lovely bust/sculpture of what appears to be an African woman is in nice shape and measures 9 1/8\" H x 4 1/2\" W x 3 1/16\" Depth. I am not certain what material it is made of. It looks like ironwood and is quite heavy for its size. But, the finish is so smooth and it does not have the jagged look of carved wood. There is \"grain\" marks on the piece, but I am not sure if that was crafted or genuine. I have not seen another like this, so I have no comparable. Whatever it is sculpted from, it is very nice and would look amazing in a library holding your favorite books in place. Please, feel free to ask questions.
