A three-volume set, issued in conjunction with a large planned 1997 sale. The thin informational volume includes introductory sections titled Genealogy of H.R.H. The Duke of Windsor; The Wardrobe of the Duchess of Windsor; The Wardrobe of the Duke of Windsor; Floor Plan of No. 4 Route du Champs d’Entrainement; Chronology of Events; and selected bibliography. The two hefty vols. present 3311 lots, well annotated and illustrated. The actual sale of these items was significantly delayed from the stated dates due to the death of Princess Diana. It was finally held in February 1998.

- Any individual lot, or combination of lots which exceed 4 pounds in weight must be sent by Priority Mail. Some lots will fit into flat rate envelopes and some will not.
- Shipping is calculated per lot based on the weight of the final package per item.
- I can combine lots into one shipment to save on actual postage costs, but it is impossible for me to predict the actual postage before the end of sale on combined lots.
- It will never be more than the sum of the postage for the individual lots.
