Newspaper clipping pasted onto rear free endpaper on the use of Dowsing Rods. Light rubbing to cloth and top and bottom of spine and to board corners. Some small knocks to board edges. Some faint light red staining to bottom corner and edge of reverse of front free endpaper and same place on title page. Some red staining to bottom edge of rear free endpaper. Publishers slip advert (for a pocket edition issued in a leather wallet for field use) pasted onto gutter edge of title. Pencilled letters and number to top corner of title page. Slight gutter pull between pages 158 and 159 in the glossary otherwise binding sound. Contents age toned, a bit dusty, faint book odour, a couple of small splash marks to the top of pages 108 and 109 and the occasional slight mark to foredge.
