The results tend to be more noticeable than those of AHA peels. TCA Peel, Tca is one of the deeper, more aggressive peel treatments used to correct serious skin flaws. As far as popularity goes, Tca peels are right up there with AHA peels. This is largely because the concentration of Tca can be altered to produce results similar to those of both AHA peels and phenol peels.
Tca is used as an intermediate to deep peeling agent. Depth of penetration is increased as concentration increases, with 50% TCA penetrating into the reticular dermis. Concentrations higher than 35% are not recommended because of the high risk of scarring.

- First Cleanse the area to be treated with a mild cleanser
- Apply the TCA solution to the desired areas. The most common area treated by TCA peels is the face, but it can also be applied to the hands, chest, and neck area.
- The TCA solution can be left on the skin for 1-5 Min depending onyour skins sensitivity andstrengthyou havechosen. Rinse with water and carefully pat dry with a clean cloth ( do not rub the treated are), apply ointment (neosporin,polysorin orsimilar).Eachindividualis different and the time the peel is left on will be different for each individual.
- New skin can have a pinkish color for several days depending on strength of the solution and skin condition. It is very normal that your skin could \"possibly turn brown\" and it can wrinkle up and even get a crust to it much like a bad sunburn, this will depend on thestrengthyou use. Continue using ointment for 2 - 3 days after the peel ,apply once or twice daily.
- Skin will begin to exfoliate/peel within 5- 7 days .Please Do not pick, or scratch any of the exfoliating skin, this can cause skin scaring. You may being using a mild cleanser after 3 days.
- You may use the mask every 6-8 weeks .You must allow your skin enough time to heal before the second recommends using ointment (Polysporin, Neosporin) for the first few days on peels over 15%. Please Do not pick, or scratch any of the exfoliating skin, this can cause skin scaring.
*If uncomfortable irritation occurs/rash, discontinue use and consult your skin care specialist. Avoid contact with eyes and lips. Do not rub into skin. If contact occurs in eye, rinse thoroughly with water.
*If you are to venture outdoors – You must apply a sunblock of at least SPF 30. Continue to apply this daily.Sunlight can cause discoloration of the treated areas. (brownish color)
Post Care :
-For the first two weeks cleanse the area with a mild cleanser only, do not use a face cloth to cleanse the area or any abrasive material to cleanse with. Do not pick, peel or scratch the exfoliating skin, this can cause scaring.
-New skin \"may or may not\" have a pinkish color for several days depending on the strength of solution.Your skin may also turn brownish (the skin that will exfoliate) until the peeling/exfoliating processes ends.
- Please use Sunscreen of minimum of SPF 30 when venturing outdoors.Sunlight can cause discoloration of the treated areas. (brownish color)
-Avoid All sun exposure including tanning beds.
- Continue use of ointment until the skin treated is fully healed.
- Avoid all hair removal by any technique for a minimum of one month.
- you may want to re-apply the solution a second time after initial peel but please wait a minimum of 6-8 weeks before reapplying the peel for your skin to completely heal before a second application.
