So herewe have yet another WJ Daniels Bottle that cannot be specifically found in thebook, “The Rise & Demise of Colorado Drugstores, 1859-1915, Glen R. Preble,2002”. The closest match was listed inthe book as a “Rarity 4”, meaning less than ten were known to exist at the timeof publishing. Circa: 1898 – 1915. This two ounce clear bottle is embossed onthe front with \"WJ Daniels (in script) DRUGGIST FLORENCE, COLO.\", andthe number “2”. It lacks the words “K.P.BLOCK” found on the one in the book, yet has the same base stamp with “D.F.& CO.” with the “sunburst type” embossing (see photos).

It is inVery Good Condition. It has been lightly cleaned. The interior of the bottle contains a fairamount of residue from its century-old burial. There are no cracks orchips. Bubbles can be seen in the glass,which is part of the glass-blowing process. Blown-in-mold, applied top.
