This is an original, 1874 book, which was written by Catherine E. Hurst of Madison, New Jersey. It is the biography of Duchess Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.

According to Wikipedia.com: \"Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie; (10 March 1776 – 19 July 1810) was Queen consort of Prussia as the wife of King Frederick William III. The couple\'s happy, though short-lived, marriage produced nine children, including the future monarchs Frederick William IV of Prussia and German Emperor Wilhelm I.\"

According to the Author\'s Preface Note, this biography is based upon Samuel Lucas\" \"Christlicher Volks-Kalender\" of 1870, Baur\'s \"Religious Life of Germany\" of 1870, and E.H. Hudson\'s \"Louisa Queen of Prussia\" of 1874.
