Thisis a very beautiful Quran leaf from the Ottoman era. It is a handwrittenmanuscript, dated 1214 AH (1799 AD). The text represents verses from Sura Al-Muddather(The Clocked One), and is written with black and red ink. The text is framed in a redcolored frame. The Arabic Calligraphy is beautiful. The leaf exhibits foxingand worming. There is damage on the borders but the text is not affected. Theleaf is fragile and can be easily broken if not handled smoothly.
