QUALITY ANTIQUE ENGLISH 15K GOLD CLASP W/ TINY HEART LOCKET c1860 :

A fine qualityantique English, solid15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) clasp (for either bracelet or necklace), with finely hand engraved designs thoughout, hinged ends, and complete with a tiny glazed heart locket (containing a hair memento, easily removed) with original suspension / safety chains. Originallywill have been attached to a woven hair / cord bracelet, easily adapted by your jeweller for use with a link chain etc if desired.

Lovely quality and fabulous original condition!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1860/70. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:25 mm long overall, 7.5 mm internal socket diameter, heart 11 x 9 mm(1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 5.8grams.
