DIMENSION: Approximately 8.50Inches in Diameter

CONDITION: Excellent (no chips, no cracks, no restoration)

COMMEMORATION: IN COMMEMORATION OF 60 YEARS GLORIOUS REIGN

Thisbeautifulchina/pottery plate was manufactured by the Austrian company, MB,to commemorate theDiamond Jubilee ofH.M. Queen Victoria in1897.

Thesepia image of the Queen is surrounded by acanthus and at its bottom is the commemoration depicted on a ribbon. The years 1837 and 1897 are shown on the bow. This is actually made from a photo by the famous photographer to the Queen, Mr. A. Bossano.

The raised, fluted rim is shown in a shade of pink. The ridges in the flute add some dimension to the design. Please note that there is the slightest bit of discoloration to some of the raised part of the rim (look near the\"nodules\" in the rim). This is discoloration--over time--and not hairline cracks. The entire plate is in superb condition. No box.

Theplate is back-stamped with the MB/Anchorlogo and its origin as made in Austria.

This is a stunning piece which will be a centerpiecetoyour collection! The size is nice, especially if space is limited.
