CONDITION:Excellent; no chips, no cracks, no restorations

COMMEMORATION:TO COMMEMORATE THE GLORIOUS 60 YEARS REIGN OF ENGLANDS BELOVEDQUEEN VICTORIA AND INDIAS EMPRESS

This very attractive pottery sandwich platterwasmanufactured tocommemorate theDiamond Jubilee of H.M. Queen Victoria in 1897.

This color of this platter is between off-white and \"ground\" yellow and upon which some beautiful decal transfers have been applied. At the top is the Queen\'s Royal Arms, \"JUBILEE\" and \"1837\" \"1897\". Her Royal Standard is hand-painted and attached to a gilded staff. The Union Jack is hand-painted (slightly worn) and attached to a gilded standard The national flowers are prominently displayed.

At the bottom are two Flags attached to gilded staffs, the \"V R\" cypher, the gilded crown, national flowers and \"GOD SAVE THE QUEEN\". A bouquet of national flowers is shown at either end.

There is a 1/8 inch \"knife cut\" to the left of the roses at the top. As this is a pottery piece, there are a few specks around the outer edges.

The heavy gilding around the rim is in superb condition.

No back-stamping of a manufacturer\'s name.
