Although there are many commemorative medals/pins/brooches commemorating Victoria\'s Golden Jubilee (1887), this one is unique in that it has the original pin/crown attachment (see picture) still in-tact. Excellent condition. Often, cities had their own medals given to children to commemorate the event or other individuals. This one is from the Borough of Derby with the town mayor\'s name included.
