Out for a offer this unusual and attractive glass vase designed by Rene Lalique in the early years of the 1910s. The vase “Dentele” introduced in 1912. A vase with particular design and special colour. The gourd-form vessel is mould-blown in medium and high relief with beaded ribbing ( Marcilhac No. 943 ). A rare model from Rene Lalique’s earliest days as a glassmaker. We are selling an early fine example with clear and well defined details and, presented in a rare charcoal-gray colour glass. Standing approx. 7 5/8 in. ( 19.5 cm. ) and in absolutely great original condition, no damages, no restorations, impeccable. Signed on the underside twice: moulded R. LALIQUE and acid etched R. LALIQUE / FRANCE. Manufactured in France early 1910s.
