What asensational find of a very rare bottle!Dug right here in Colorado! Circa:1904. There are several stories on whatexactly this bottle was meant to represent.One view is that this bottle was produced and given away by Theodore Rooseveltopponents during his Presidential campaign in 1904 (references to alimony andmatrimony are embossed on the bottle, possibly hinting to the messy divorcethat T.R.’s brother had recently gone through).
It is inExcellent Condition. It has been lightly cleaned. The interior and exterior of the bottle containalmost no residue. There are no cracks or chips. Bubbles can be seen in the glass, which ispart of the glass-blowing process. Blown-in-mold, applied top.
