Original circa 1850 daguerreotype, showing an unframed painting (possibly on an easel)of an unidentified British Revolutionary War officer. It might be possible to ID him,
but I haven\'t tried. His coat and buttons have been tinted red and gold.

In a very nice, full, complete case, measuring 4.75\" x 3.75\" when closed.

Dag has a few small mat abrasions/scratches and a spot of green corrosion, otherwise
no issues. Newer archival seals.
