RARE 1800s 9 BAND MOCHA PITCHER YELLOW WARE YELLOWWARE:

This is an attractive early pitcher with 9 bands, 6 whiteand 3 mocha. Dating to the mid-1800s,the sides of the pitcher are flat with an applied strap handle and appliedspout. The pitcher was made on apotter’s wheel where the shape of the pitcher was formed. The pitcher measures 5½” in height, 3” from side to side across the opening and 3 7/8” across thebase. The only damage are two small chipson the edge and on the bottom of the foot which is insignificant on a piece ofyellow ware of this quality.
