We are delighted to offer for sale very very rare 1831solid 9ct gold Sampson Mordan 18 hole golf course tool retailed by AspreyLondon

For the golferwho has everything! What a truly lovely and rare find, I’ve never seen anotherand it is as rare and desirable and you could possibly hope for

Fully stampedon the engine turned case S.M&CO for the wonders that is Samspon Morden oneof the finest silversmiths our country has ever known, a little further downthe second set of hallmarks reads 9 on the side follows by 375 for 9ct gold,date letter q lower case in a circle, the closest match I can find is 1831 thenthe lions head for London and finally Asprey for the retailer

The removableextending propeller pencil on all three sections is stamped with the sideways 9and then 375 again for 9ct gold. If you remove the double sided score cardwhich has holes 1-9 on the first side and 10-18 on the second then you revealfurther hallmarks stating Asprey again and then a RD mark of 758547

The conditionis good used and with a lovely vintage patina, the pencil is out of lead butyou can pick them up and have them fitted at normal pen shops
