Up for sale is a scarce 1861 Series Confederate $5.00 Note. T-31 according to Criswell. Condition is circulated but still decent for being over 150 years old. Notice the main vignette with five women (Commerce, Agriculture, Justice, Liberty and Industry. George Washington in vignette on right. Minerva on left. Very attractive note with orange color and full borders. Not cut cancelled. No repairs.This note comes from a Manchester,Tennessee family estate. They said this money has been in their family since the Civil War. Authenticity guaranteed. All notes will be carefully shipped in a rigid flat packet. Great provenance. !
