The cracked hinges are only through the leather on the exterior and to not go through the end papers. Boards secured firmly; binding strong and tight. Light scuffing, soiling, rubbing, etc. Original red leather inset title label proudly displayed on spine with only light wear; bright and vibrant gold gilt titling.The end papers are free of hinge cracking or inscriptions. Very Good condition text block with clean, crisp pages with gentle signs age toning. Only light signs of wear and a tear to page 84/85 along the middle right side. No foxing, spotting, soiling, etc. throughout the text block. Gorgeous dual frontispiece of Cleveland and Hendricks with original tissue guard paper in stock.
