This Is A Gorgeous ca. 1895 William Henry Chandler Chromolithograph; Of Men Fishing In A Lake By A Cabin, Fall Or Autumn Time. It Is In Its Original Frame And Has Gorgeous Colors And Detail. William Henry Chandler Is A Very Well Known Artist Pastel Artist, Born 1854 And Died February 26th, 1928, Whose Works Incude Lanscapes, Winter Landscapes, Marine And Seascapes, Still Life Fruit, And Fowl. He Was Born In New York City And By Deeply Religious Parents; Which Influenced His Entire Life. He Was Not Only Known For His Great Artistic Ability, But Also As A Great Humanitarian. His First Job Was In Chicago As A Carver Of Cameos; This Was His First Foray Into Using His Artisit Side. After The Deaths Of Hs Wife And Youngest Daughter, Early In Their Marriage, He Moved To New Jersey And Started The William Henry Chandler Company, In New York City; Around 1887, It Was Here That The Pieces of Artwork, That He Is Known For, Were Produced. His Work Was Exhibited At The International Exposition In Paris In 1900-1901. He Was Greatly Influenced By The Hudson River School Of Art. It Is Said That His Work Influenced Many Other Artist, Including Maxfield Parrish. He Was A Very Popular Artist Of His Time And His Style Was Frequently Copied By Other Artists Of The Era; And Still Is Readily Copied Today. This Litho Is In Its Original Frame, Which Is Absolutley Gorgeous; And Compliments The Art Perfectly.
