This listing is for a beautiful antiqueWorcester porcelainhandle less tea cup bowl made during the Chamberlains Worcester period, c. 1840-1850.

Measures3 1/2\" high, 2 1/4\" in diameter (at top) with a 1 5/8\" diameter base.

This lovely tea cup hasa ribbed body in a gadroon swirl pattern with a raised foot ring. The exterior is decorated withpink flowers and green foliage with a small rust stylizedflower that is often found on early Worcester pieces. The interior rim has a thin scallopeddesign with a thin line above and the interior bottom has a hand painted flower. Cup is unmarked which is common during this period.

The condition of the porcelain cup is excellent with no noted flaws. The hand painted decoration does have minor paint lossparticularly on the green leaves.
