DescriptionThis is a rare, beautiful piece of late 18th century French block printed printed linen & cotton c1780s-90s with a beautiful design known as \'arborescent\', featuring cherry rees, cherries and roses.
The condition is: good, clean, strong early linen, some fading to the foliage and a few pinholes mostly visible if held to the light, see photos. A lovely example of this type od early pinted fabric.
It measures about 24\" by 15.5\" or 61 cm by 39.5 cm. Thank you for looking.
