Neat Antique Vintage SAN FRANCISCO PICTURE SOUVENIR BOOKLET FROM 1914. Made by The Pacific Novelty Co.. This is 28 pages with great colorful scenes of places around San Francisco. Each page is about 10\" x 8\" with a 7\" x 5.5\" colorful picture. There is also a description of each page on the back of the pictures. Some great 100 year old scenes including the Ferry Building, Birds Eye views of the city, the Palace Hotel, Fairmont Hotel, U.S. Minty, and many other.
The booklet is to be held together with string, but it was not when I got it. I have now (not pictured) put a piece of twine through the holes so that it now stays neatly together, much like I am sure it was originally. There is 1 page that was cut out. The page was cut smaller. It is still included in the booklet, but it is not attached. The front right bottom corner is torn. Other than that, it is in good shape. The pictures are very clean and brightly colorful and suitable for taking out and framing if desired.Very fun piece!
I am not a book collector. I ran across several old late 1800s -early 1900s and mostly San Francisco area books that I will be listing. So my terminology may not be 100% correct to you who are book collectors. Please ask if I write anything that doesn\'t sound right or look right after looking at the pics and I will be happy to explain anything, especially in trying to describe these properly.
