SPANISH BOND with RATION COUPONS!!!
This very rare WW2 bond with ration coupons was issued by the Falangist (or Fascist) Regime of Spain after it won the Spanish Civil War. The bond commemorates the alliance of Franco and the German Leader. This is one of only 2 such bonds that depicts him alone (We have the other one, too. Others show him with Franco or with Franco and Mussolini - please email if interested in any of those). The reverse of the bond contains 10 coupons that were good for scarce commodities and foodstuffs such as rice, salt, bread, beans etc. The Fascist government used bonds like this to assist and placate the famished wartorn population after the bitter Spanish Civil War. The small perforations form the separations between the coupons on back. None of the coupons has been clipped.
