I have for your consideration
my beautiful
1945 Effanbee LITTLE LADY doll.
She measures a large 27\" tall.
She is all composition with yarn hair and sleep eyes.
This doll was advertised in the Montgomery Ward catalog
(check out the last photo).
She is wearing her original pink formal of rayon marquisette
and white maribou cape and skull cap.
She has her original gold Effanbee heart bracelet.
Her body is in excellent condition with original blush on elbows, knees and hands.
She does have a hairline crack on her backside (see photo).
She can stand on her own like in the photos but, I feel she could still be strung tighter.
(She has probably loosened up over the years).
Her original yarn hair has not been cut and could be curled again.
I have always left it as is...
Her pink panties are perfect.
Her dress is gorgeous and only has a tear need the hem in the back (see photo).
Her jacket is embroidered \"Little Lady\" inside.
The maribou cape and hat are NOT bright white and have
turned vintage in color.
her socks have no holes. I have not washed them.
Her shoes are original but, are very fragile and stiff.
The snaps still work.
Her little original purse is stiff and pretty flat.
(I never tried to puff it out.)
She has all buttons to dress and cape.
I took sooooo many photos so you could
get a good descripton
of this precious doll.
