RARE 1980 Longaberger Bread Box Wood Crafts Product Vintage Wooden Collector:

Vintage 1980 Longaberger Bread Box. Rare and very hard to find.The front has the basket weave design. There is a small white ceramic knob to open the lid. The lid picks up toreveal ashelf and a large storage area inside. The lid slides upinto the top of the box. It is done in the darker stain. Measures 18.5\" long x 13.5\" wide x 12.75\" high, and weighs just over 10 pounds.

This bread boxis all wood. It\'s well made andin very good condition overall. It was actually used, sothere are some places that show wear, most notably around thehandle. There is some wear to the right side (inside the lid) where the lid slides into the top of the box, and the lid does not slide as smoothly as it should on the right side.(Not sure which issue came first.) It looks like there is a water stain on the bottom, though I don\'t see that it caused any damage.There are no odors. It could probably use a good cleaning overall.

The bread box isover 30 years old and these are quite rare.This is the only one I have ever actually seen and it belonged to my Auntie.According to The Bentley Collection Guide, 1980 wasthe only year it was made.The newest book I have is 2003, which shows theaverage valueover $400.00.
