19th century, Circa 1840-1860, Pennsylvania.
A VERY RARE OVER-SIZED 2 GAL SIZE STORAGE JAR WITH LID WITH FANTASTIC BLUE FLORAL DECORATION.
Great Bold Deep Blue Cobalt Decoration. It has a fine lip. It has an early tapered shaped.
FINE MACCOBOY IS A EARLY Tobacco.
Very minor roughness to the top as you would expect.
THIS PIECE IS IN NICE CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS. There are two very small and very tight lines on the top of the rim, (see photos), and there is some losses to the cover.
12 1/2\" tall and 7 1/2\" across the top.
