Up for your consideration is this rare and very unique Dutchsterling silver tea caddy.This oval shaped footed Danish piece has elaborate chased and repousse shell motif decoration with an attached lionfinial on the lid.Hallmarked for Copenhagen in 1831 and given as a gift in 1849.One noticeable dent to side of caddy.
Makers mark PF.
Measures 5 1/2\" tall and has a width of 3 3/4\".
Total weight is 170 grams.
