Tight Lines by Ralph Bandini
This book was given to my grandmother\'s father in 1936. A note was written from the person that gave it to him. The note is on the page after Bandini\'s signature and picture. You can see this in the photograph.
This book looks as if it has never been read. The pages are in perfect condition and the binding is tight like a brand new book.Rare true first edition of Ralph Bandini\'s classic angling book: \"Tight Lines. With Pen and Ink Sketches by the Author.\" Publisher is Tight Lines Publishers, Los Angeles; 1932. \"Wrap-around\" leather binding. Most copies on the market have the blue cloth binding. It was suggested that the true Deluxe Editions (like this) were reserved for friends of the author. Signed by the author beneath typped-in photo, opposite title page. Illustrated from photographs and line drawings (endpapers are maps); 239pp (8vo.). On copyright page, someone (the author?) has overwritten the last 2 in copyright date of 1932 with a 3, in ink(?).
