Up for the sale is a beautiful antique 16th/ 17th century Ming dynasty gilded bronze figure of Avalokitesvara sitting on a double lotus separate base.

The beautiful face of theBodhisattva downcast in asereneexpression. The right hand is in avakshara mudra, left in harina mudra. Bears a tiny statue of AmitabhaBuddha on the front part of her tiara.

Very finely detailed piece- just look at the pictures!

The statue measures 12.5\" (31.8 cm) high. Weighs 6 lb (2703 gram).

Condition: In accordance to the very old age of the piece. Overall good with extensive loss to the guilt (see pictures).
