A rare antique Chinese shagreen (sharkskin) ovoid eyeglass case with push-button flip-top and silver mounts. The monogram plate on end is blank. Has museum accession or collector numbers inside. Size: 5.5\" high and 2.5\" wide. Very good overall condition with some minor seam separation. Circa late 1700\'s/early 1800\'s.
