Exquisite and RARE antique French fine sheer white BATISTE fil and TULLE bloomer, panty, short.Edwardian era.
Deep hand made embroidery tulle inserts along the legs alternating with batiste bands hand embroidered white work flowers,hand monogrammed MR near the waist, with minute hand stitching.
The scalloped edges are ending again with inserts of very elegant and feminine bands of tulle.A very delicate Valenciennes lace is trimming the waist.
It just have hand sewn flat opening at the back and closes at the waist with 2 mother of pearl buttons, in order to adapt the bloomer to your size. It is not open crotch.
This bloomer is a very feminine lingerie. Quite impressive. Looking like a petticoat.
Excellent condition, part of a trousseau. No defaults at all. Freshly laundered.
