Description:
Charming, antique, hard-to-find Japanese silver & enamel pendant mirror - Meiji period, circa 1880.
Hallmarked, on the back with a maker\'s name and Jun-Jin (pure silver) mark - the top part with an elaborate chrysanthemum blossom design created with engraving and filled with red & white enamel.
The inside of bottom part with the original, old mirror now missing most of the mercury coating but it can be easily re-coated or replaced with another mirror or a picture making it a locket pendant.
Very good condition for the age - please view detailed pictures.
It measures 5 cm long including chain attachment - locket alone is 3.5 cm in diameter.AGE & AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED
