ANTIQUE QI\'ING 19th c CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK ROBE!Beautiful antique 19th century Qi\'ing dynasty Chinese embroidered silk robe.On a navy blue color silk material features beautiful flowers and butterflies with 2 finely embroidered medallions on the chest and the back; embroidered in forofferden stitches (Peking knot), satin stitches, and couched with golden metallic threads (metallic thread couching is mostly on the light blue silk sleeve bands featuringflowers in vases and Buddhist auspicious fruits).
Lined with a blue damask silk lining woven with floral ornaments (see pictures).
The robe measures 45\" (114.3 cm) long.
Condition: very good antique condition, considering the very old age of the piece, with hardly any losses to the threads of the embroidery and no damages to the silk material (see pictures).
