WHAT A MAGNIFICENT PORCELAIN PIECE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION!
Carl Thieme was probably the most prolific porcelain make of the late 19th century, and his design patterns mimicked the Dresden from 100 years earlier.
Marked as shown with the "PS" for Pottschappel underglaze, then Dresden, over glaze in blue. The detail on the painted initials and blossoms is absolutely stunning and superb! This particular pattern is so rare and scarce to find!
THIS COMPOTE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE THAT I CAN SEE OR FEEL!
This magnificent porcelain confection and was made as a luxury display piece around 1891-1900, this mark is clearly shown in the photographs!
