Antique Imperial Prussian German Infantry officers Sword, late 1800\'s period with etched panels on both sides of the blade, has the imperial eagle under a crown and on the other side stretched out wing eagle with moto \"Mit Gott Fur Kaiser und Reich\", the sword pattern dates from the late 1800\'s the motto more indicates WW1 use . one side of the guard folds, gilt brass handle. The scabbard is metal and has been painted grey . it fits well but may not be the original one?, overall a rare and well made genuine sword.
