Stamped \'HANDARBEIT .800\' behind the clasp, this is a genuine item from the Arts and Crafts movement in Germany!
Featuring rectangular pieces, exhibiting beautiful scrollwork filigree, each link is joined with double silver hoops.
\'Handarbeit\' in English means \'made by hand\'. The silver standard used in this piece is the minimum in Germany. Please see the link I posted above should you wish to read more about German silver.
Can you imagine the person, all those years ago, making this bracelet, lovingly by hand?

The bracelet is in very good condition (very clean for its age), with slight signs of gentle wear. There are no kinks or bends at all in any part of the chains. It moves PERFECTLY. Also the clasp opens and closes with ease, it is in very good working order.
The safety chain is also attached securely (it is not removable).
STRUCTURALLY SOUND AND STURDY!
You will also see that I have left the original patina on this one, but it has been cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner so it is READY TO WEAR.
