RARE Vintage Bosa Italian Handmade Lace BLUE FIGURAL FILET Placemat ZOOMORPHICDescription: An antique Italian lace table mat or doily - an excellent, clean, sound example of handmade filet lace from Bosa, Sardinia, in a most unusual blue and cream. It is entirely hand-knotted and hand darned. The zoomorphic figural is of two odd birds and a..... fruit tree? It is about 8\" X 13\". Please enlarge my photos for clear closeup views of this fine old lace. I have just hand-laundered and lightly pressed it for you; it is sparkling clean and ready for you to use when it arrives. I have inspected it and find no damage. If you are a collector of handmade lace, you will love this rare blue example.
