Antique 10\" Schoenhut DANNY DADDLES 1916 Raggedy Ann Character Wood Duck
From the 1915 book \"Quacky Doodles and Danny Daddles\", by Rose Strong Hubbell and illustrated by Johnny Gruelle, we have very rare and adorable Danny Daddles (producedin 1916-18). The Schoenhut wooden duck family was first issued by the famous Schoenhut toy company of Philadelphia, PA in 1916 in conjunction with the publication of the 1916 \"Quacky Doodles and Danny Daddles\" Book. Schoenhut discontinued the production of these comic ducks early in 1918.Danny is approximately 10\" tall, all wood, jointed, and strung. All paint is original and there have been no repairs. Structurally, Danny is in good condition. Paint has normal age wear (Danny is over 100 years old after all) and the pictures provide the best description of the overall condition. This antique does show various signs of wear, so if you have any specific questions regarding the condition, please send us a message and we will try our best to answer all your questions.
