THIS LISTINGIS FOR...this rare set of antique (1923), FAIRBANKS, Brass, Liquid Measures. These antique beauties were made by FAIRBANKS out of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The company produced them with and without handles. This set doesn\'t have handles. A full set would consist of 6 Liquid Measures ranging in size from 1 Gallon (largest) to 1 Gill (smallest). My set here today is 3 of those sizes. There is a 1 Gallon, a Pint, and a 1/2 Pint. They are each marked \"Fairbanks\" and \"23\" to denote that they were made in 1923. They are also marked \"MS\" which is a mark stamped on by the Inspector in Maine when he verified that the weights were accurate. 1 Gallon Liquid Measure is 9 inches tall and 6 inches across the rim. The Pint Liquid Measure is 4.5 inches tall and 3.25 inches across. The 1/2 Pint Liquid Measure is 3.25 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide. These 93 year old sets are hard to find.
