VERY Unusual Antique Flat-Folding Wooden Doll Furniture Suite with 1864 Patent Date
The patent number marked on these three pieces is 43296, which dates to 1864! The very tightly grained wood was cut and pin-nailed in such a way that each piece folds completely flat for easy storage. The three pieces are a long bench (7.25\" x 2.25\" x 4.87\";) a single chair (2.125\" x 2.125\" x 3.75\";) and a table (3.5\" x 3.125\" x 5\".) Each feature hand painting decorations in a folk-art style. These will be a fabulous addition to your antique doll collection.
