A Very Rare and Seldom Encountered ARMY model Clock by Ansonia

This Clock was recently acquired from an estate in Upstate NY
This clock is formed as three Rolling Block, Military Rifles with Bayonettes which are stacked to form a tripod. The clock itself is housed in a drum form case which is suspended in the center of the rifle tripod by a brass strap. A regimental Flag on a standard rises above the tripod, the standard being topped with a spear point and crossguard with spherical ends. To complete the military theme, a cast metal bugle hangs off to one side of the tripod on a twisted wire strap.
The face of the clock appears to be ivorine or celluloid and has ornate English numbers in black. The face reads \"Manufactured by Ansonia Clock Company New York United States of America. The center disc of the face is gilt metal and is embossed with a floral design. The glass is beveled. The movement is a fixed key wind and I believe it is a 1 day clock. There is a speed adjustment on the back of the clock
This stands approximately 12 3/4\" high to the top of Flag Standard. The legs of the base from a triangle of approximately 5 1/2\" per side.
Excellent Condition with NO missing or cracked parts. Complete down to smallest details such as the slings on the rifles. The finish is original and well patinated. Some original gilding remains and blends nicely with the bronze colored finish in places where the gilding has been worn. There are some wear scrapes on one rifle (toward the back) as noted in photos as well as a very slight sway or bow in the back most rifle (again see photos)
