Absolutely Gorgeous German WFM Britannia Metal 17\' Tankard
Circa early 1900\'s
Maidens dancing & Frolicking with satyr
Handle formed as grape vine and cherub on cover head
Ornate art nouveau
Reads on one foot \"WMFB I/O as\". The \'I/O\' means normal silver coating which equals 1 gram of silver per 1 dm2 of base metal surface.Also inscribed on bottom is \'as\', meaning\'antique finish\'.
***RARE***:Inscription WMF is infused with an additional \'B\' at the end making it read \'WMFB\'. This means Britannia metal base. Also on opposite foot it has a single \'B\' marked.
Excellent condition: No noteddamage or flaws. Absolutely gorgeous piece of art!
