You are offerding on a very rare find --- a pair of hoops that would have been used in leg-o-mutton sleeves in a Victorian dress. These are brand new old stock, but do show some rust through the covered wire. There is aslight kink intwowires as shown in the first photo. Also, the first fourpictures show them to be whiter than they really are. The discoloration is due to age. The two hoops are held together by a straight pin. I have not attempted to remove the pin, but it slides easily. These were with my grandmother\'s things, but never put into a dress. Grandma was born 1n 1857.
From top hoop to bottom hoop on the outside,oneis 9-1/4\", the other is 9-1/2\". Each hoop is 7\" in diameter.
