Description: Up for sale is this very nice matching pair of lamps. Originally they were vases with the Czech stamp on the bottom. Each lamp or vase has been hand painted depicting sparrows or swallows in mid flight. Wonderful use of color with great detail. The bottom of each lamp is decorated with flowers. This is really a high quality pair dating from the 1920s or 1930s. Great use of color and design. The base is a bronze colored white metal with nice Art Nouveau design. Each lamp has one socket controlled by a pull cord. Please see pics for details. Lamps are in good working condition. Cord and plug have no issues but as always please examine throughly before using.
Dimensions: Lamps stand 10.5" tall to the socket.
Condition: Very good condition with no chips, cracks or damage to the pocelain. Some crazing to the glaze can be seen.
